Senior's Discussion Group
Join with new Unity Church of Lawrence member, Elizabeth Stiers, as we launch a new opportunity for seniors (self-identify!). Beginning Tuesday, May 15th, we will begin a senior's discussion group meeting at the church from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. This is a great opportuinity to share your wisdom, be uplifted by others and enjoy fellowship. This group will meet for 6 weeks, not including June 5th and 12th. Coffee and tea will be provided.
Annual Community Breakfast Celebrating Older Adults, Friday, May 18th at 8:00 am at Maceli's
Trinity In-Home Care is hosting the Annual Community Breakfast Celebrating Older Adults on Friday, May 18th at 8:00 am. The event, held at Maceli's, will recognize Outstanding Older Americans in our community. Joanne Hurst will be honored as the 2012 Inspirata Recipient. Please join Rev. Shannah and attend this event. We will hear Joanne's amazing story while having a delicious breakfast. The event is free to the public - appreciating the contributions of older adults. Please RSVP directly to Trinity no later than Monday, May 14th at 842-3159. Thank you for helping make this the best year ever! Let's celebrate the wisdom and value of older Americans.
Lisa Bell concert, Friday, June 2nd at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary
UCOL welcomes Lisa Bell, international singer/songwriter and Shawn Madden for a concert on June 2 at 7 pm, here at church on a love-offering basis. Then, Lisa will share her music, talk, and meditation on Sunday, June 3rd, followed by a workshop at 1:00 pm. Her focus is on Finding Your Vibrant Life. Her energy and wisdom are infectious!
