Sue Suhler says, “I combine prints, paintings, and photographs on paper and canvas. My favorite tools are abstract, graphic elements, honed in my background as an editor in print media.”

Sue Suhler first studied art as a child in Iowa at the Des Moines Art Center. Later, she drew quick studies while her young sons played in the parks, beaches, and farms of their lives. She has studied art in universities and arts centers across the United States.

Today in Kansas, Suhler studies art with painter Judi Geer Kellas in Lawrence. Suhler holds the Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kansas School of Journalism. Her career features proposal-writing for the aerospace industry alongside her career as a painter.
