Implicit bias: The association between thoughts and actions" *** Sunday, January 24, 2021 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Zoom: https://kansas.zoom.us/j/9174094362 Our unconscious mind plays an important role in our actions, tone, and behaviors. In our daily interactions, there is a need to look in the mirror for self-discovery around implicit bias and how it impacts the relationships we build with colleagues, clients, partners, and others. In this workshop, we will explore the impact of implicit bias and discover ways to effectively communicate and take responsibility to connect and build relationships with those around us. We will touch on the definitions and how to recognize implicit bias, microaggressions, stereotypes, prejudices, and how privilege can contribute to systemic discrimination. Learning Objectives:

Each month we will be working with the astrological significance of the sign the moon is inhabiting, bringing a different flavor to each lunar event.
