Youth Education
Our Mission
by Myrtle Fillmore (1845-1931), Co-Founder, Unity Movement
Our mission is not to entertain children, but to call them out. To be always entertained is to be dwarfed and dependent. To be "called out" is to follow the harmonious law and of the soul's unfoldment.
Who meddles with the rosebud? Whose fingers are deft enough to pry open the marvel of folded beauty? We are wise enough to leave it alone to follow the law of its own unfolding. But our children! Have we dealt as wisely with these buds of marvelous possibilities? Have we always remembered that they, too, must quicken and unfold through the innate law of their own being?

Y.O.U. - Youth of Unity Group
Meeting 2nd, 4th & 5th Wednesdays at 6:30 pm in the fellowship hall.
The Youth of Unity (Y.O.U.) is an international youth group for teens age 14 to 18 that encourages and assists their spiritual growth, creating connections, and helping them express their most authentic selves. If you have a teen that is age 14 to 18 and would like more information about Y.O.U., please contact Jay Pryor at [email protected].
Volunteering
Volunteers contribute to a vibrant and thriving UOL Youth and Family Ministry. Our program could not exist without the many energetic, loving, and devoted volunteers who support our children on their spiritual journeys.
As you and your child become part of our spiritual community, we encourage you to assist in the classroom. Volunteering even one Sunday every month allows you to be part of the Sunday school experience and play an important part in the UOL Youth and Family Ministry.
If you are interested in becoming a youth volunteer, please contact the office for an application and background check paperwork. Thank you.
How to Give Your Support
Supporting Teachers
As a Supporting Teacher, teach in the classroom as part of a team at least one Sunday a month. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to experience the unfolding of a child's divine nature.
